http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2007/12/sleep_deprivation

i would like to know what everyone thinks about this topic. i for one think in a way its kinda cool haha, but on another note completely rediculous. i mean seriously whats the problem with good old fashioned sleep? people now days need to learn how to balance their lives better.

  1. Wow, just think of how much more you could do if you didn't have to sleep. Even if it was just your own time. I would hate to see it used for work by people whos jobs run their lives. I am such a night owl anyway that even if I could use it just to get me going in the morning would be great. I'm glad that Brayden has to get up to go to school in the morning just so that it gets my ass out of bed in the morning.

  3. It would be nice in some aspects...like being a mom and having a million things to get done all day every day! But then again....I have to say I enjoy my sleep time! It's nice to just take a break and not have to deal with anything!

  4. SOunds like a recipe for disaster. I dont like it. It will get abused. Your body needs sleep to repair itsself. Lack of sleep can totally screw you up.

  5. sometimes I think there isn't enough time in a day, but you gotta have balance and sleep is good..and satisfying. On the other hand...sometimes you can't avoid not getting any.....sleep that is :}, and so it'd be nice to not worry about it to much, but if you don't have to worry about it to much, then it would get abused! In taking anything that isn't completely natural , any form of medicine especially is a risk. Even if there are no "known" side effects yet, that doesn't mean there won't be, that just means they haven't found them yet, which has happened in countless medicines and ingredients in food. So I don't know... it sound great, but if something sound to good to be true it probably is and it probably comes with a price one way or another. So yah that's my :}.
